Week 10 | GSoC’21 | OpenMRS | End to Coding Period

This blog describes my work in my last week 9th August — 13th August 2021

In continuation to my work left in week 9, I continued working on the Patient List Detail page and completed the left over integration. About the endpoints for various action buttons such as Editing a patient detail page, duplicating patient list into own patient list and deleting a patient list, I was instructed to contact Mr. Bett, which I followed and had a meeting with Bett regarding the same.

He provided me with the endpoint to delete and edit a patient list, but he told me to wait for a few days to get the endpoint for duplicating a patient list, which his team will work on. Along with that I asked him for adding changes in the existing APIs, such as adding count of patient members in a list and adding more information about the patients in the response when fetching the patient members for the list. However 2 days after, he told me that his team is refactoring the cohort module and I will have to wait for indefinite time.

But I continued working on minor changes in styling of the page and added extensions for actions buttons if needed in the future. This marks my end of coding period and I’ll be contributing to the team even after my period.

I would love to thank my GSoC admins, seniors coordinators and developers for helping me out and supporting me in every step in the whole coding period.
